OTC III Hip specimen course
Are you passionate about advancing your skills in hip trauma management? Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of the OTC III Specimen Hip Course at IORT Leuven on 17 January 2025.
This one-day intensive course is designed for 3-6 years of orthopedic residency.

Leadership Transition and Board Changes at OTC Belgium
4 years after the founding of OTC Belgium, our chairman, Dr. Stefan Clockaerts, passes on the torch.
He will remain active as board member for OTC Belgium, but he will also take the function as incoming president for the OTC Foundation.
Dr. Pieter-Jan De Roo will be the new chairman of our association, assisted by board members Prof. Filip Stockmans, Dr. Bernard Struelens, Dr. Nele Roels and Dr. Stefan Clockaerts.
The educational manager of our society remains Delphine Hamers.

We would like to invite you for the OTC I closed fracture treatment and casting techniques
In this Starter course, we will mainly focus on acute and closed fracture treatment, including practical tips and tricks on diagnosis and closed reduction maneuvers. An important aspect of closed fracture management is the application of casts. Therefore, extensive theoretical and hands-on practical sessions regarding plastering will be provided. The course is open to all trainees involved in the initial management of trauma.

We designed a comprehensive educational program to enhance your understanding and proficiency in pelvic anatomy and fracture treatment. This course is meticulously crafted for last year residents, fellows and young surgeons to facilitating an in-depth comprehension of anatomical relationships, clinical significance, and procedural considerations.
Throughout this course, participants will engage in a rigorous curriculum that combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical sessions, guided by seasoned experts in the field.
